Abstract: Human communication is the most complex form of communication when compared with any newlineother living beings. The message (what is said) is not only important, but a lot of emphasis is newlinegiven on where and how the message is delivered. The ways of message delivery decide what newlinemeaning can be decoded by the receiver based on their cultural background It is important that newlinethe receiver interprets and attaches the same meaning what was intended by the sender/ newlinetransmitter of the message for meaningful communication to occur. The ability to effectively newlinecommunicate in a multicultural working environment decides the nature of the working newlinerelationship one can build with their supervisor and colleagues. newline newlineIn the search for profitable business opportunities, numerous organisations expanded their base newlinefrom one location to multiple economic geographies within and outside India. This lead to the newlineamalgamation of individuals belonging to different cultural backgrounds working in one place. newlineFor any organisation, it is difficult to get the best talent pool at one place. Hence the best newlineresources are being hired from all over the world, this leads to the formation of a multicultural newlinediverse working team. Research has proved that cultural diversity, if managed carefully, may newlinewell enhance the innovation and productivity and if not carefully managaed it may create newlineconflict and poor job engagement. newline
