Abstract: The Thesis entitled Synthesis of Pyrazole, Oxadiazole, Thiazole, Triazole/ Isoxazole Hybrids via Click Reaction and Evaluation of their Cytotoxic Activity has been divided into IV chapters. newlineChapter I: It is divided into two sections newlineSection A: Describes the general introduction about click chemistry, its applications as a background that leads us to choose as a key reaction for our research, a brief review is presented to previous reports cited in the literature on development of this reaction. newlineSection B: Describes the general introduction to triazole and isoxazoles and their literature review. newlineChapter II: Describes the development of novel methodologies for the synthesis of 1,2,3-triazole and isoxazole linked pyrazole hybrids and their cytotoxic activity. newlineChapter III: Demonstrates synthesis and In-vitro anticancer activity of novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole linked 1,2,3- triazole/isoxazole hybrids. newlineChapter IV: Illustrates synthesis of novel 1,3-thiazole-triazole and 1,3-thiazole-isoxazole hybrids. newlineSection A: It deals with the general introduction about click chemistry, its applications as a background that leads us to choose as a key reaction for our research, a brief review is presented to previous reports cited in the literature on development of this reaction. newline1,2,3-Triazole and isoxazole motifs are considered to be interesting in recent years due to their occurrence in diverse natural products and excellent biological activity. It was reported that, 1,2,3-triazoles acts as anticancer agents, antibacterials, HIV-1 protease inhibitors and antihistaminics. The significant biological activities were also observed for pyrazoles, oxadiazoles, and thiazoles, if these can be linked individually with the two scaffolds 1,2,3-triazoles/isoxazoles we can make up a more potential compounds .This led us to report a series of novel 1,2,3-triazole and isoxazole linked pyrazole, oxadiazoles, thiazoles hybrids and study their anticancer activities.
