dc.description.abstract | The Present study aimed to study the effect of Process Oriented newlineGuided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) on higher order thinking skills newline(critical thinking in mathematics, mathematical creativity) and newlineachievement in mathematics in relation to mathematics self-efficacy. newlineIt was studied on a sample of 202 students of class IX studying in newlineGovernment model schools of Chandigarh. Non-equivalent pre-test newlineand post-test control group design was used for the study. The results newlinerevealed a statistically significant effect of POGIL and mathematics newlineself efficacy on linear combination of dependent variables. newlineInteraction effect was found to be insignificant. This study will be newlinehelpful for the teachers, administrators and suggest them the ways for newlinedeveloping higher order skills in students. newline newline | |
