dc.description.abstractThis study is focused to the occupational or work place stress among the school teachers of different streams, various age groups, experience, type of schools they work in etc. Total 27 studies of different years from different universities have been selected as the sample of the present study. It has come up with an overall trend of occupational stress in the 11 years from 2009-2019, which are taken under observation. The results of the study have been analysed by finding out the effect size of each study and their variables using meta-analysis technique. All the results are compiled to create an occupational stress model. The occupational stress model exhibits the level of intensity of occupational stress among seven demographic variables taken under consideration along with the stressors working behind the cause. Model also represents the outcomes or effects of the occupational stress on school teachers. This study will definitely be helpful to the policy makers to make decisions considering the results of the present study for upcoming policies and make it worth for the teachers. newline
