Study of sports structure and programmes of directorate of higher education and state universities of Haryana

Abstract

The present study aimed to assess Sports Structure and Programmes of Directorate of Higher Education and State Universities of Haryana for analysing the sports structure and programmes in colleges and universities the researcher selected total 516 respondents consisting 416 players and 100 teachers of 70 colleges and 7 universities of Haryana. From The Survey it has been found the sports structure of the directorate of higher education and state universities is wellstructured on the basis of their respective organizational, administrative and functional set-ups. The infrastructural facilities of the universities are satisfactory as compared to that of colleges. The Directorate of Higher Education and State Universities have been offering good number of sports promotion schemes for youth studying in Higher Education Institute. It is observed that students are well aware about different sports programmes offered by College, Directorate of Higher Education, State Universities. It has been observed that almost 90% of various sports infrastructure facilities are being utilized. newline
