Abstract: In this study, a recombinant L-AI from Lactobacillus sakei 23k was produced in E.coliand a commercial and#946;-Gal was used for the synthesis of D-tagatose. The immobilized catalyst MnNFatL-AI,mCLEA, L-AIatMWCNT,L-AIatGOx were prepared and characterized. Comparatively,theimmobilizedpreparations of L-AI and and#946;-Gal have shown improved kinetic characteristics and stabilitythan that of free enzymes. Dual enzyme (and#946;-Gal and L-AI)immobilized preparations suchas MnHCatand#946;-Gal+L-AI, Combi-mCLEA, and#946;-Gal+L-AIatMWCNT, and and#946;-Gal+L-AIatGOx showed improved conversion in cascadecatalysis. Additionally, the immobilized catalysts have shown excellent reusability. newline
