The internal surface finish in mini tubes is of prime importance in many areas of engineering and process industry. The pharmaceutical and semiconductor industry for example cannot afford even the minutest imperfection in the tube internal surface, carrying ultra pure fluids. The literature studied shows that methods of internal surface finishing in mini tubes are indeed limited. The most common and the oldest practical method of internal surface finishing in mini newlinetubes has been the Electrochemical Polishing (ECP). In ECP centering of the Cathode wire becomes progressively difficult as internal diameter decreases. The space around the cathode must allow sufficient electrolyte flow to flush the sludge and avoid the electrolyte temperature rise. The tube bore limits the cathode diameter and its current carrying capacity. A fixture to keep the tube perfectly straight and firm is necessary, to avoid short circuit between anode and cathode. Moreover, polishing is smoothening, it may not improve the dimensional accuracy. newline
