In today s scenario, high strength nickel based alloys are extensively used for various newlineapplications in industries like aerospace, petro chemical, nuclear and solar power stations due newlinetheir superior characteristics. The precise surface finish and accurate geometry is the basic newlinerequirement for these industrial components. To machine and finish the Inconel alloy with newlineconventional machining method is very difficult task. So it is a challenge for manufacturing newlinesector to produce the complex shaped Inconel alloy components with precise surface finish. newlineConventional machining and finishing operations like turning, milling, honing, newlinegrinding, super finishing were used to finish the Inconel 625 alloy to achieve the good surface newlinefinish. But high cutting forces, poor surface finish, tool wear and thermal stresses are the newlinemajor issues in conventional machining methods. Non conventional machining methods like newlineEDM, ECM and chemical abrasive flow polishing recommended for machining and finishing newlineof Inconel 625 super alloy to overcome the problems arise in conventional machining and newlinefinishing methods. newline
