Study newlinewas conducted at Radiology department, Metro Hospital, Faridabad and NIMS newlineUniversity, Jaipur, A written consent was taken, and subjects were informed well newlineabout the study. newlineStudy was conducted from Aug 2017 till June 2018; randomly 51 subjects were newlineselected for this particular study. newlineA non-invasive procedure was designed to know the fornix depth in normal newlineophthalmic eye with the use of a radiopaque contrast dye (eye drop) and CT scan, to newlinemeasure the fornix depth at different locations. newlineThe contrast (radiopaque topical dye) eye drop creates the boundaries in the fornix, newlinewhich is easily recognized in the radiograph. The radiographic image will help to newlinemeasure the fornical depth with the use of the CT scan. newlineResults newlineEvaluating anti-scarring therapies require objective assessment of scarring, newlineknowledge of normal fornix anatomy, Objective assessment of worsening of newlineconjunctival cicatrization, and the knowledge of normal conjunctival fornix depth newlinevalues, is an essential requisite when evaluating the efficacy of anti-scarring therapies. newlineIn the prototypical scarring disorder, ocular mucous membrane pemphigoid, it has newlinebeen observed that scarring can progress despite apparent clinical control of newlineinflammation. newlineAbstract newlineiii | P a g e newlineEarly identification of any semblance of progressive cicatrization is the key to newlinemanagement of conjunctival scarring disorders.
