Abstract: Banking sector in India is growing rapidly and banks also facing tough newlinecompetition in this global era, in this situation well motivated and diversified human newlineemployees are the asset for the organisation and may become a key to success because newlinethis is a service industry. But it will be possible only if the employees of the newlineorganisation satisfied with their job and Job satisfaction is a topic of wide interest to newlineboth people who work in organization and people who study them. It is the most newlinefrequently studied variable in organizational behaviour research, and also a central newlinevariable in both research and theory of organizational phenomena ranging from job newlinedesign to supervision spectre, 1997. The Traditional model of job satisfaction focuses newlineon all the feeling that an individual has about his/her job. How-ever, what makes a job newlinesatisfying or dissatisfying does not depend only on the nature of the job but also on newlinethe expectation that individuals have of what their job should provide. Satisfied newlineemployee is inclined to be more industrious, inspired, and dedicated their work. newlineEmployee s satisfaction is an important success factor for all banks. newline.Employee s satisfaction has been recognised to have a major impact on many newlineeconomic and social phenomena.
