Abstract: This thesis on research topic Strategic HR Practice in Hospitality Sector: A Study of newlineInternational Hotel Chains in NCR studies contemporary human resource Strategic in the newlinehotel industry in the National Capital Region. The hotel industry and the effective Strategies newlineof its human resources are of great economic significance for National Capital Region, given newlinethe government s plans for doubling the number of international arrivals between 2015 and newline2022 (Tourism Bureau 2017) newlineIn order to explore this research topic through systematic study these objectives were newlineestablished: To analyze current human resource policies and their effectiveness, to analyze newlinethe relationship between the recruitment and performance management of the employees. To newlineanalyze the existing training policies and their impact on the performance of employees and newlineto analyze the HR Policies of individual international hotels and study the competitive Vis newlinevia with other international hotels. Hypothesis has also been framed to test the same newlinesubsequently. Hypothesis were First hypothesis was H0: There is no significant association newlinebetween current HRD policies of the organization and providing equal opportunity training newlinefor all the employee, second hypothesis was H0: There is no significant association between newlinerecruitment and performance of the employees and third hypothesis was H0: There is no newlinesignificant association between the training needs and the performance of the employees. In newlineorder to explore this research topic through secondary research extensive literatures, journals newlineand other published informations related to the topic has been referred to collect secondary newlineinformation around the working title and creating base for the primary research. In order to newlinecondunct primary research methodology of this research were identification of universe, newlinesampling techniques, developing instrument of data collection. In order to collect data from newlinerelevant samples, convenience sampling technique has been applied. Data has been analysed newlinewith the help of statistical techniques using SPSS version 22. First of all nature of the data newlinehas been identified followed by application of relevant statistical tool to test the hypothesis newlineof the study. newlineTwenty-eight hotels were approached and fourteen hotels participated in this research, newlinerepresenting a 50 percent response rate. The results suggest that most participating hotels are newlinefocused on dealing with the day-to-day operational challenges of shortages of appropriately newlineskilled staff, seasonal variations in workforce demand, and employee turnover. While they newlineperceive these issues as significant and challenging, they were most inclined to view these as newline facts of lifeand#8223; in the industry and were relatively limited in their considering more key and newlinevital answers for managing them. Notwithstanding, a few lodgings are growing more creative newlineways to deal with viably captivating with these difficulties, for example, partaking in jointpreparing newlineprograms with different inns; growing long haul associations with entry-level newlineposition understudies; increasing employee empowerment, and using the Balanced Scorecard newlinein performance management Nair (2014). This investigation investigates a few manners by newlinewhich these functional activities could be taken further. It likewise takes up a key subject newlinethat rose out of the meetings, to be specific the indispensable significance of creating sound newlineclient assistance societies and practices.
