Nonlinear Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow Problems Using MLPG Method

Abstract

The MLPG method, in particular, has been identified as a truly meshfree method with great newlineflexibility to solve potential GDEs and complex engineering problems. The EBCs has been newlineimposed by the penalty function (PM) and direct interpolation methods respectively. A predictorcorrector newlinescheme based on direct substitution iteration has been applied to address the nonlinearity. newlineTwo-level and#61553; method has been employed for temporal discretization. The fourth-order newlinespline weight function has been used to interpolate the test function. The MLPG codes have been newlinewritten on DevC++ for all the cases considered in this doctoral thesis work. The results obtained newlineby the model problems have been compared with that of the analytical and benchmark solutions newlineand found in very good agreement. newline
