dc.description.abstract | In the present thesis, the indigenous design methodology of interaction structure as well as magnetron injection gun used in a typical gyrotron is developed and presented. The methodology is at first applied in turn to the gyrotrons, namely, 95 GHz, 170 GHz, and second harmonic 200 GHz gyrotrons and then successively implemented to other low and high power gyrotrons operating at various frequencies. The thermal and structural analyses of the interaction structure used in the typical gyrotrons are also carried out.
