Cross Layer Concept Based Security Algorithm for Wireless Networks

Abstract

newlineWireless networks offer mobility and ease of installation to the users due to which newlineeverybody wants to join it. As the number of the users are increasing day by day hence newlinethe security has became the main concern in any type of wireless network whether small newlineor large. Due to the broadcast nature of the wireless network and network devices any newlineperson having a small technical knowledge or a potential intruder can listen to or modify newlineyour communication. If the intruder is within the range, he can listen to the unintended newlineinformation. Although a number of cryptographic algorithms are available which newlineprovides a high level of security, still there is a need of more secure algorithm to protect newlineour information from unauthorized persons.
