dc.description.abstractDCD is not well understood till date, In order to provide comprehensive newlinecare for children with DCD, understanding issues in CRF and HRQOL is now newlinea great concern, the level of physical fitness of children who are clinically newlinediagnosed with DCD has not been addressed and the treatment remains newlineunclear. This also indicates the need for moving from a narrow medical newlineperception to a broader approach, it is essential to increase the awareness newlineand understand the impact that DCD has on HRQOL. A mere normal motor newlinecontrol doesn t mean the child is normal; interventions that focus on improving newlinefunctional skills and child s environment have to be designed. newline The study provides new evidence in favour of addressing the co newlinemorbidities of DCD children and to understand the nature of the disorder, newlinethereby improve diagnostic methods and adapt to holistic interventional newlineprogrammes. newlineAim newline To find the effect of cardio respiratory fitness training in children with newlinedevelopmental coordination disorder and thereby improve the quality of life.The QOL of children with newlinedevelopmental coordination disorder (DCD) is largely unknown, and this newlineresearch helps to understand the psychological and social concerns of DCD newlinechildren. The paediatric neuro QOL is a comprehensive measurement system newlinewith acceptable psychometric properties that could be used in computerized newlineadaptive testing. The QOL data s were assumed normal distribution and the newlineresults showed that DCD children in combined training group showed newlineimprovement in terms of mean difference in HRQOL across domains with newlinesignificant improvement in fatigue, social interaction and social stigma when newlinecompared between the groups A and B, though children in groups A and B newlineshowed improvement, this effect was lesser than improvement gained while newlinecombining both aerobic training and motor training in combined training group. newline
