Abstract: | In mathematics, some process skills are required as observation, classification and information gathering as a prerequisite for integrated process in general hypotheses, controlling variables and defining operationally or our focus in classical education, teaching new mathematics or basic ultimate goal to children critically and Is to teach thinking independently. Inquiry is an essential component of the study of mathematics. newlineIn present study, the researcher studied the effectiveness of Inquiry Training Model in the teaching of mathematics students of Class-IX. In the inquiry process, education acts as a catalyst rather than information dispensaries. The student has been interrogated by presenting with a surprising situation. The general goal of interrogation training is to help students develop the necessary intellectual discipline and skills to raise questions and find answers to streaming answers with their curiosity. In the inquiry process, education information acts as a catalyst rather than hospitals. The researcher used experimental research method for present study. He conducted experimentation in two different study from Ahmedabad city. Overall, 160 students of standard 9 were selected as a sample. The researcher distributed these students in two equivalent groups in both the schools. One group was experimental group in which students were treated with inquiry training model, in other group was controlled group whose students were treated with traditional teaching method. newlineThe experimentation revealed that the inquiry training model is more effective in teaching of mathematics than traditional teaching method. newline |
