The business world is increasingly faced with fierce competition at a global level thus Leadership poses to be a challenge which is paramount for success of any organization operating offshores. The emergence of cross cultural organizations and diverse workforce has brought into limelight a recent concept called Leader Cultural Intelligence . Leadership requires a wide array of functions and responsibilities to boost performance of an organization not only within the border but also beyond the borders. Thus, the concept of Cultural Intelligence throws light on a question why some individuals are able to perform in a better way than others in a cross- cultural setting. The unique skill set and competency allows a Leader with a higher Cultural Intelligence to manifest a strong commitment of their teams towards organizational goals. Cultural Intelligence builds a global mindset in leaders of today who are more sensitive, receptive and accurate in understanding the needs and requirements of their diverse teams thus synergizing their efforts towards a positive path of creativity and innovations. It is imperative for the global organizations to understand that Leaders with high Cultural Intelligence have a great potential in mapping the differences and aligning the same with team outcomes especially in context to innovation and conflicts. newline
