In new global order, it is felt newlinenow that this is the most opportune time to make known to the world each of the above newlineaspects of society within the framework of the basic principles of Buddhism. The newlineBuddhist doctrines are based on reasoning and rational thinking and this perennial newlinephilosophy advocates a well-balanced material and spiritual well-being in order to newlinemaintain a simple life and to help attain the ultimate stage of individual liberation, newlinesummum bonum, or Nirvana. Modern man can lead a very happy and prosperous life if he newlineunderstands the significance of this social and economic philosophy as explained in the newlinePand#257;li Tipiand#7789;aka. The main objective of this research work is to bring into light facts about newline Social and Economic Philosophy of the Buddha as depicted in the Pand#257;li Tipiand#7789;aka . In newlinethe very beginning we have tried our best to explain the significance of the contemporary newlinenecessity which led opting for this kind of research. Further on in the remaining sections, newlinewe have highlighted the fundamental philosophy of Buddha which exerts influence on the newlinesocio-economic activities of the individual. Hence, understanding of socio-economic newlinephilosophy of the Buddha becomes more important today than ever before, because newlineBuddhism directly addresses to the fundamental issues of human life and it s inter newlineconnectivity with the community at large in a holistic way. newline
