Abstract: Present investigation was aimed to study endophytic fungi from different parts of newlineMaytenus emarginata (Willd.) Ding Hou for biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles, newlinecharacterization and its antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant (DPPH scavenging newlineactivity), anti-diabetic, anticancer and plant growth promoting effect by using newlinevarious methods and procedure. In present research work a total of seven different newlineendophytic fungal isolates were identified at molecular level using 18s rRNA ITS newlineuniversal primers and The sequence of nucleotide in BLAST homology in NCBI newlinedatabase confirms related species are namely Nigrospora sphaerica, Alanphillipsia newlinealoeigena, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, Arthrinium gutiae, Didymella newlineglomerata and Fusarium brachygibbosum and Kalmusia italica were isolated from newlinethe stem, leaf and flower in the laboratory. Isolated endophytes are good producer newlineof silver nanoparticles show good absorption spectra at a range of 415 nm to 450 newlinenm and TEM result confirms size in between 10nm to 80 nm. newlineThe biosynthesized AgNPs of selected endophytes namely Alanphillipsia newlinealoeigena, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, Arthrinium gutiae, Didymella newlineglomerata and Fusarium brachygibbosum biocompatible fungal green newlinenanoparticles have good biological exhibits an antibacterial, antifungal, newlineantioxidant, antidiabetic, anticancer and plant growth promotion activity. newlineFurthermore field trial and in vivo study required. newlineKeywords- Maytenus emarginata, Endophytes, 18s rRNA, AgNPs and biological newlineactivity. newline
