dc.description.abstractCorticosteroids are medicines in Allopathy that are similar to the natural hormone cortisone. newlineCorticosteroids are used to provide relief for inflamed areas of the body. They lessen swelling, redness, newlineitching and allergic reactions. They are often used for a number of diseases such as Asthma or other newlineautoimmune diseases. As corticosteroids help the body to maintain the integrity of the walls of the veins newlineand arteries, they are helpful in stopping or preventing unwanted bleeding. Because of their wide spread newlineeffects, these drugs are useful in treating many medical conditions, but they can also have undesirable newlineside effects. Homoeopathy as a science also uses an array of drug sources to prepare various medicines newlinewhich include not only plant sources, but even healthy secretions of the body and unhealthy tissues newlinebesides various allopathic medicines. Even steroids like Cortisone is potentized according to procedures newlineof Homoeopathic pharmaceutics to treat patients from the ill effects of crud dosage of these medicines as newlineprescribed in allopathic system of medicine.
