dc.description.abstractAdolescence is the transitional stage of growth and development between newlinechildhood to adulthood, representing the period of time during which a person newlinebiologically adult but emotionally not matured. WHO defines adolescent as the newlineperiod of life between 10 to 19 years. The adolescent is one of the dynamic newlinestages of human development. The adolescent is a period of significant change newlinein physical, cognitive, social and psychology that give both opportunities and newlinechallenges for families, health professionals, educators and communities. It is the newlineperiod when the child moves from dependency to autonomy that demands newlinesignificant adjustment to the physical and social changes that distinguish newlinechildhood behavior from adult behavior newlineThe aim of the study was to compare the effectiveness of newlinemindfulness therapy and bibliotherapy on the reduction of adolescent s newlinedevelopmental identity anxiety and biophysical parameter among early newlineadolescents. newlineTo conclude the early adolescents who were practiced mindfulness therapy newlineand bibliotherapy has shown significant reduction of adolescent s developmental newlinetransitional identity anxiety level, when comparing with pretest and post test in newlineexperimental groups. Also, the practice of mindfulness therapy and bibliotherapy newlinein shown significant reduction in the level of salivary amylase level. But no newlinesignificant reduction of adolescent s developmental transitional identity anxiety newlinebetween the mindfulness therapy and bibliotherapy. The study shows the newlinemindfulness therapy was found the effectiveness of 56.3% and bibliotherapy was newlinefound to be the effectiveness of 48.6% in reduction in salivary alpha amylase newlinelevel. Comparing with mindfulness therapy and bibliotherapy, mindfulness newlinetherapy having a better enhancement in reducing adolescent s developmental newlinetransitional identity anxiety among early adolescents newline
