Abstract: the present study demonstrates the utility of this novel approach of genetic fusion between LTB and the immunodominant epitope of epsilon toxin, maintaining the antigenicity and immunogenicity of the carrier protein and generating an effective response blocking the functional activity of epsilon toxin. The present work demonstrates the utility of this novel approach of genetic fusion between LTB and the selected immunodominant epitopes of Etx, while maintaining its antigenicity and immunogenicity along with the carrier protein. Using the specific epitope of the toxin eliminates the risk involved in using the whole cell vaccine. Thus using the specific epitope rather than using the whole cell gives a tremendous opportunity of being specific in the nature and exhibit high potency against enterotoxaemia. newline
