Abstract: | Today, a rebellious race is taking place among the automobile industry so newlineas to produce highly developed models and the automobile industry has seen a newlinemarket shift towards sport-utility vehicles. Customers enjoy the size, adaptability, newline d fi I and commanding view of the road that are hallmarks of vehicles in this newlinesoh ee, newline·t ·s more difficult for a designer to create a vehicle that will both be newlineclass. 1 1 . newlinecomfortable to the operator and pillion, and perform :well during maneuvers. In newlineorder to maintain the level of comfort that customers expect from vehicles and still newlinemaintain the high safety standards of automobiles, attempts are made to develop an newlineideal vehicle (motorcycle) which is aesthetically pleasing, ergonomically running newlineand most important is safety. newlineThis thesis solves the problems of human discomfort procured from riding newlinethe motorcycle. This work comprises the task of ergonomic considerations in newlinemotorcycle design using anthropometric data of riders. The ergonomics newlineconsideration in motorcycle design helps to rectify many human body related newlineproblems. By implanting the interview technique of end users the revealing outputs newlineis made available which is used for the analysis of motorcycle from ergonomics newlinepoint of view. The improved motorcycle model is prepared by using Pro-E newlinesoftware and comparative statement is prepared. Modifications in lever, handle newlinebar, seat, footrest are· made adhering to the standards. Vibration analysis is also newlinecarried out for handle bar and seat to justify the implementations. Keeping all the newlinedata, I have analyzed and improved the design factors for the comfort and safety of newlineriders. The improvements in parts are also justified from mock interviews newlineconducted on different road conditions. newline |
