Abstract: newlineSecured communication models are in large demand after the advent and extensive use of digital data transmission techniques like internet, intranet etc. There is a huge requirement for the digital data publishers to secure their efforts from eavesdropping and plagiarism. There are different techniques being adopted to achieve a solution for this problem. Techniques like watermarking, cryptography etc..are being used in both industry and academia for the purpose of protecting the information. newline newlineThe researcher has proposed some innovative methods to secure the data. A novel cryptographic scheme is one such method with some modifications which uses encryption along with the steganography scheme providing dual stage security for the image payload. newline newlineThe researcher introduces another unique method of steganography called tilizing based steganography which is much suitable for images which are having the colour patterns which are alike. This may be a pro and also a corn. The corn of using only images with similar colour patterns has been overcome in the modified algorithm presented. newline newlineA new scheme which secures different types of biometric signals using steganography which may be used real time to ensure the secured transmission of different biometric signals is also being suggested by the researcher. newline newlineFurther, the concept of water marking the different kinds of health parameters in different forms like text, ECG, DICOM etc into a single QR code at the first stage of embedding and then the entire thing is embedded into a dummy colour image to provide additional security has been put forth. newlineThe major problem of data over the social media cloud is the hacking of privacy policy which is a major flaw in the social media and this problem has been addressed by the researcher using hybrid data hiding scheme which employs cryptography and watermarking where the KNN Classifier has been used to differentiate the private and public images as their security labels. newline
