Abstract: | This study is aimed to explore the relationship between teacher s freezing, techno-pedagogical competency and school environment. The sample of 400 secondary school teachers was collected from two heterogeneous groups (hilly and plain) from Dehradun district of Uttarakhand. The major finding of study revealed that Significance difference was found between male and female with respect to various dimensions of Teachers Freezing as, psychological, social, physical and moral except intellectual dimension. No significant correlation was found between Teacher Freezing and Techno- pedagogical Competence among male teachers but significant and weak negative correlation was found among female teachers in both hilly and plain region. No-significant correlation was found between Teacher Freezing and School Environment among male and female teachers in both hilly and plain region. Various dimensions of teachers freezing was affected by Techno-pedagogical competency in hill and plain except psychological dimension of teachers freezing was not affected by Techno-pedagogical competency in plain region. This study would be useful for the State Govt. policy makers to understand to improve the physical condition of school and technological based needs of government schools to minimize teachers freezing especially in hill region. newline |
