Abstract

Harmonium is very important instrument of Sugam Sangeet as well as all forms of the music. With the time, various Harmonium artists have made new experiments in gayan shaili of Sugam Sangeet according to their playing technique improvisation, creativity, skill and art. The main objective of the research work is to represent different playing technique of Harmonium with various forms of Sugam Sangeet i.e. Geet, Gazal, Shabad, Bhajan, Qawwali and Kafi which have been elaborated in the thesis. newline
