Abstract: Wire electrical discharge machining process offer opportunities to newlinemanufacturers to improve their technology, competitiveness and profitability newlinethrough a highly efficient and focused approach to manufacturing newlineeffectiveness. newlineIn present work WEDM machining process uses for newlinemachining of Al+SiC, Al+B4C and Al+ZrO2workpiece material considering newlinepulse on time, pulse off time ,wire diameter, wire material, wire feed rate, wire newlinetension and peak current as input parameter and material removal rate, newlinesurface roughness and cutting velocity as output parameter. Uncoated newlinecopper, brass and molybdenum wire having different diameter 0.2, 0.25, and newline0.3mm is used as electrode. Design of experiment L27 orthogonal array has newlinebeen selected for experiment and analysis of variance is carried out on the newlinebasis of signal to noise ratio and multi attribute decision making methods like newlineARAS and OCRA applied to find out optimal parameter set which is most newlinesignificant for material removal rate, surface roughness and cutting velocity. newlineUsing optimum set of parameter design L16 array for uncoated and zinc newlinecoated brass wire as electrode having diameter 0.25 and 0.3mm for same newlinework piece and output parameter. Pulse on time, pulse off time and wire newlinediameter consider as input parameter and other parameter as fix parameter. newlineMulti objective decision making methods like GA, TLBO and multi attribute newlinedecision making methods like ARAS, OCRA are applied to find out optimal newlineparameters set. newlineWire diameter and pulse on time is most significant parameter for material newlineremoval rate and cutting velocity whereas pulse off time is most significant newlineparameter for surface roughness of all work piece materials. Aluminium silicon newlinecarbide, pulse on time 128and#956;s, pulse off time 50and#956;s, wire diameter 0.3mm is newlineoptimum value. newlineDimensional analysis is used to develop semi empirical and empirical model newlineof MRR using input parameter pulse on time, pulse off time, wire diameter and newlineVII newlinematerial thermal and electrical properties. It was found that experimental and newlinemodel result having goo
