Abstract: Osteoporosis is a global health problem that causes bone fragility due newlineto low Bone Mass Density (BMD) and micro architectural degeneration, newlinemainly in the hip, spine, wrist, and shoulder. osteoporosis is a metabolic bone newlinedisease caused by osteoclastic bone resorption that is not balanced by newlineosteoblastic bone synthesis at the cellular level (Ursula et al, 2020). Calcium newlineis the most prevalent mineral in the bodies, and it is responsible for the newlinestrength and structure of the bones and teeth, as well as a number of newlineimportant metabolic processes. Its serum level is strictly regulated by the newlineparathyroid hormone, calcitonin, and vitamin D. Lack of calcium in the diet newlinecauses osteoporosis, and calcium is also involved in the aetiology of other newlinedisorders such as metabolic syndrome.Nurses have key and increasingly important role to play in societyand#8223;s newlineefforts to tackle public health challenges, as well as in ensuring the provision newlineof high quality, accessible, equitable, efficient and sensitive services which newlineensure continuity of care. Researcher strongly felt that since the youth are at newlinerisk and unaware about this silent killer, imparting knowledge at a younger newlineage can prevent osteoporosis to certain extent. The need for prevention of newlinethis silent killer is must, as this has become the major life-threatening disease. newlineThe potential burden of osteoporosis can be reduced for newlinepremenopausal women. This realization has strongly motivated and prompted newlinethe researcher to assess the effectiveness of physical activity and finger newlinemillet-based food supplement on bio-Physiological parameters and bone newlinemineral density among Premenopausal women. newline
