For successful prevention and control of the cardiovascular disease, newlinehealth education is essential to promote health choices. Schools provide an newlineideal venue for health education. Moreover, health and education are newlinestrongly linked. To maintain good health and avoid preventable disease newlinethroughout their lives, children must gain knowledge about health risks and newlineacquire skills that are needed to avoid or reduce risks. Promoting healthy newlinepractices during adolescence and taking steps to better protect young people newlinefrom health risks is critical to the future of countries health. Social newlineinfrastructure must be used for the prevention of health problems in newlineadulthood . Teaching with multimedia presentation has a certain amount of newlineentertainment value for students. A number of studies have suggested that newlinevideo assisted teaching is an effective method in improving knowledge, newlinemotivation and satisfaction of students. A thorough review of literature on CAD identified a wide gap (lacuna) newlinebetween the CAD risk factors assessment and prevention of risk factors. newlineThere were countless studies conducted all over the world regarding newlineprevalence and risk factor assessment of CAD. But, there were very minimal newlineinterventional studies conducted to prevent such a dreadful disease. Urgent newlineaction is required. Unless the children/ adolescents are educated, and be newlineaware of the risk factors it would be highly impossible to control the rise of newlineheart diseases especially in the developing country like India. In India, newlinechildren and adolescents are not viewed as suitable targets for newlinecardiovascular health promotion efforts because most cardiovascular newlinediseases occur in adulthood. As a result, less attention has been given to newlineCVD risk factors in Indian children and adolescents, as compared with newlineadults. There is no research found regarding assessing the knowledge, newlineattitude and health behaviour with structured interventional strategy regarding prevention of modifiable CAD risk factors is available for this age group
