dc.description.abstract | Rubber has become an important source of income for forest dweller, along with selling of Ntfps newlinebut the impact caused by rubber plantation is immensely miscalculated as rubber plantation newlinefollow similar pattern as jhum cultivation since clearing of natural forest is done and replaced newlinewith rubber the habitat of flora and fauna is lost directly. Leading to decrease in Ntfp edible and newlinenon- edible resources which impact the life style and socio- economic dependency of forest newlinedwellers. newlineThis study aimed at evaluating the present Geopolitical and socio-economic Status of newlinethe State. As the administrative power was transferred to the Refugees after the civil newlinewar, all means of survival for the natives have worsen in last 4 decades. The Forest newlineresources are being exploited manipulatively since most of the indigenous people are newlineilliterate; the value of forest resources are either unknown to them. The present newlineadministration have wielded the forest resources as well as the land revenue at their will newlinewith destructive pathway which will lead the future generation of the natives to the blink newlineof extinction. Since major population of natives depends on NTFP resources by newlinecollecting and trading it for cash as means of survival. newlineKye words: Monocultural cultivation, NTFP, Scio-economy, newline | |
