Different pre- harvest measurements of growth parameters such as plant height, number of branches and number of flowers per plant were reported at intervals of 30, 60, 90 and 120days for each treatment and replication. Various post-harvest observations such as Number of fruit per plant and Weight of fruit per plant and yield of fruit were taken after final harvest i.e. at 120days and Poole data of each growth and yield parameters were calculated. The biochar of 4 different combinations i.e. Neem biochar, subabool biochar, poplar biochar and shisham biochar and 3 composts, i.e. vermicompost, manure from the farm yard and manure from poultry, respectively. Therefore, both growth attributes and yield attributes have been found to be maximal in T7 (Poplar biochar + vermicompost), so it is suggested that vermicompost be provided with biochar for full yield. All biochar application also offers the positive soil health effect it enhances soil structure and texture consistency. This reduces the bulk density and as a result, the potential for water preservation rises as the volume of carbon grows. Biochar and compost constitute an effective soil modification, rich in essential nutrients and beneficial elements. Thus enhance yield nutritional quality, improved by soil organic conditions. The tree height of Poplus deltoids under Agroforestry system is measured after the harvesting of the crop both in the year 2018 as well |
