Abstract: | In the technology driven century, most of the organizations tend to use newlinethe Cloud Computing (CC) for its benefits such as data security, minimum newlinesystem requirements, ease of access to data and as a cost cutting measure newlinetowards system infrastructure. The strength of a cloud provider usually lies on newlinevarious parameters such as authentication mechanisms, confidentiality and newlineintegrity of data as well as applications, privacy preservation techniques and newlinesecurity in all levels. However, this technology has a range of barricades that newlinestops it from achieving a complete technological success particularly in the newlinesecurity aspect There is a need of re-visiting the newlinearchitectural design and implementation of cloud systems. Also, when the newlinedata security is considered, the existing methods do not cope up in the newlineacceleration of encryption and decryption of traditional key based security newlinemethods. The conventional methods also lead to data duplication which is newlinedirectly responsible for performance degradations. newlineThe research is intended to resolve the issues considered above in newlinevarious phases. Initially a wide literature of techniques that attend the problem newlineof data security is studied and their limitations are noted. In the first phase of newlinethe research, Enhanced Advanced Encryption Standard (EAES) algorithm is newlineimplemented and the results proved to be significant when compared to newlinetraditional Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) method. In the second phase newlineof the research, the issues with single cloud technology are addressed by newlinerecommending Three Category Multi-cloud Architecture (3C-MCA) for newlinesecuring the data in the cloud environment. The output of this phase is segregated such as the first stage brought out the key security issues such as newlinethe Data Security Issues (DSI5, DSI6 and DSI8). Then, in the third phase of newlinethe research, the Innovative Mechanism User Split Encryption User newlineDecryption Merge (IM-USE-UDM) is implemented to avoid data redundancy newlinesaving space ultimately increasing the efficiency of the data storage. |
