Rights Of Transgenders A Critical Study With Special Reference To The Present Socio Legal Position In India

Abstract

Researcher based the study on the whole paradigm which are relevant for the study of Transgender community including the reasons for the study of transgender community, the newlinehistorical perspective of transgender community, their social status in the country, legal status in the country along with the study of international framework of international laws and principles which may have bearing on the transgender community. Finally the researcher presented the conclusions of the study and provided suggestions for the upliftment of the transgender community.
