Abstract: The Present Study is Undertaken to Validate Traditional Claims and Pharmacological Application of Azima Tetracantha Lam Belonging to the Family Salvadoraceae. In View of the Various Phytoconstituents and Pharmacological Properties of the Whole Plant of Azima Tetracantha Lam, in which Prompted to work on the leaf which is used as Indigenous Medicine. The Present Study on Azima Tetracantha Lam aims at Establishing Anti Diabetic, Anti Cancer and Antioxidant Activity. The Objective of this study is to Substantiate Medicinal and Traditional Claim of Antidiabetic, Antioxidant and Anticancer Activity. Hence, The Aim and Objective of this study is to Perform Thorough Literature Review of Azima Tetracantha Lam to Evaluate the plants for Anticancer and Antidiabetic Activity by Invitro and Invivo Methods. It is also aimed to isolate the Phytoconstituents from the Active Extract and Screen them for Anticancer Activity and Anti Diabetic Activity by Invitro, Invivo Methods. The leaf of the plant were shade-dried and ground to coarse powder and extracted in series, using Petroleum ether AR, Chloroform AR, Ethyl acetate AR, Ethanol AR and aqueous in an increasing order of polarity. Phytochemical Screening of Azima tetracantha Lam was undertaken to study, isolate and characterizes the chemical constituents and the Pharmacological and Microbiological activities. Current global research encourage in determination of novel compounds for combating diabetes mellitus and cancer. Hence this study focused on herbs, as a target to identified novel extracts and novel compounds (Friedelin, Myricetin and Isorhamnetin-3-Orutinoside) to determine the treatment of diabetes and cancer. Traditional claim and preliminary screening of Azima tetracantha Lam obtained from ethnobotanical sources as antidiabetic and anticancer, striked us to opt for the selected herb to put under a systematic approach. At end of this study we able to conclude Azima tetracantha Lam as a novel phytochemical constituent source for anti oxidant, antidiabetic and anticancer studies.
