Abstract: involved in metabolic pathway for bioplastic production within the bacterial cell. R. newlineeutropha and Ideonella sp. have been reported to capture CO2 as a carbon and its newlineconversion into the biomaterial production with commercial value such as PHA or more newlinegenerally known as bio-plastics (Brigham et al., 2011; Jajesniak et al., 2014). Biological newlinesequestration of CO2 along with the production of bioplastic is an important approach of newlinesustainable development. Biodegradable plastics, such as Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) newlinecan be a potential replacement to petroleum-based plastics. PHAs are inclusion bodies newlineaccumulated naturally within the cells in the condition of abundant source of carbon and newlinelimited source of oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorous, sulphur and magnesium (Sudesh et al., newline2000; Shang et al., 2003). newline
