Neurodegenerative newlinedisorders are manifested by the loss of neurons within the brain and/or spinal cord. newlineAlzheimer s disease, which is one of the most important neurodegenerative disorder, is newlinethe most common cause of dementia. With aging of the general population, the newlineprevalence of these disorders is likely to increase dramatically in the next few decades. newlineThis condition will result an increase in the societal and financial burden on the newlinecaregivers. Currently, medications for Alzheimer s Disease is very limited and aims to newlinetreat the symptoms only. None of the currently available therapies can slow down or newlinestop the continuous loss of neurons. Neuroinflammation is also a major cause in newlineneurodegeneration. newlineThe present research work shows the effect of two trial drugs Brahmi Ghrita and newlineHapushadi Yapan Basti on Mild Cognitive Impairment due to AD. An initial animal newlinestudy was conducted to see the anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and cognition enhancer newlineeffects of both the trial drugs
