dc.description.abstract | Recently, several research works have been designed for improving the newlineefficiency of DC-DC converter for high output power in renewable energy applications. newlineMultilevel DC-DC boost converter reduces the power conversion efficiency due to newlineswitching losses with high frequency during transition. Therefore, there is a requirement newlineof new technique to obtain high output power with reduced ripple effects for the newlineconverter. The proposed work is focused on developing a higher power DC/DC boost newlineconverter with increased efficiency, lesser switching time and reduced noise.An Integrated Bayes Interleaved and Sliding Window (IBI-SW) based PWM newlineframework is developed with the objective to reduce the switching loss for improving newlinethe performance of DC-DC boost converter in high output power application newline(photovoltaic panels). With enhanced output power and near optimal voltage and newlinecurrent losses, the integration of interleaving and PWM techniques computes the newlinescalability in several high power application to attain the better power factor correction. newlineBesides, soft switched Bayes interleaving technique is essential to develop the power newlinegenerated in Photovoltaic (PV) panels by multiple phase shifts and also the sliding newlinewindow based PWM achieve the improved power conversion. This helps to operate newlineMaximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm on the PV cells connected to the newlinemultiple boost converters by applying proposed IBI-SW based PWM framework, where newlinethe MPP considered on the centralized converter. Hence, proposed IBI-SW based PWM newlineframework provides the optimized converter power output and ripple effect for newlinegenerating higher power applications with improved reliability and scalability.The performances of the DC-DC converter with three different topologies (BSSIBC newlineframework, SW-PWM technique and IBI-SW based PWM) were carried out using newlineMATLAB software newline | |
