Abstract: There has been studies done on effect of bosu ball and battle rope on newlinevarious factor like metabolic cost and core stability) athletes performance newline(Drinkwater et al, 2010).But there has not been a study which compares these newlinetwo implements as these two have some common attributes like, anaerobic newlineactivity, activates core, and simulates some of the primal pattern movements, newlinefindings such of these would through some light and have greater impact on newlinefitness and sports conditioning and rehabilitation newlineHence there is a need to compare the effects of bosu ball and battle rope newlinebased training on lumbar multifidus muscle thickness, upper body power and newlinefunctional movement in collegiate male athletes. Since bosu ball and battle ropes newlineare exercise equipments that have not been frequently studied, this study could newlinehave significant role in exploring new information to the sports and fitness. newlineAim of the study newlineThis study aims to compare the, lumbar multifidus thickness, upper body newlinepower and functional movements between battle rope and bosu ball Training. newline7.7. In summary, this study proved that the battle rope training is beneficial in newlineimproving core muscle strength, bosu ball training in increasing upper body newlinepower and functional movements. This study concludes that intensive strength newlinetraining protocol is promising therapy for sports persons. The findings from this newlinestudy indicate that the 8-week training on battle rope training and bosu ball newlineresulted in greater gains on all measures of core muscle strength, upper body newlinepower and functional movements individually but when compared battle rope newlineshowed significant increase in lumbar multiidus muscle thickness than bosu ball newlinetraining group and bosu ball training group showed significant increase in upper newlinebosu power and Functional Movement Scores than battle rope Training group newlinewithout producing any adverse effects. newline
