Abstract: newline Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is an analytical tool that became important newlinein particular to organic chemists. It provides key info concerning the composition, the structure newlineand also the dynamic of molecules, regardless of the size of molecules (including newlinemacromolecules). However, the extraction of these informational data is not forever newlinestraightforward. Indeed, proton NMR spectra are generally complicated in complex mixtures newlinebecause of extension proton chemical shifts in narrow range and the generating of homonuclear newlinecoupling in protons often causing signal overlap. Two-dimensional NMR experiments have newlinebeen developed, leading to a distribution of signals in two-dimensions, the well-known being newlinethe COSY experiment. As the NMR methodology development provides to more and more newlinecomplex informational data, it becomes vital to increase the resolution of spectra. An approach newlinebased on spatial encoding is also reported in this thesis. Zangger and Sterk, in 1997, developed newlinethe homonuclear decoupling element, which is used to reduce the multiplicity of signals. Thus, newlinethe signals in 2D homonuclear experiments are decoupled in the indirect F1 dimension newlineproviding a better resolution in signals
