Abstract: The Poetry of Nissim Ezekiel is a synthesis of two cultural polarities, which is partly the result of an Indian Poet who wrote about the indigenous experience and partly of is Jewish upbringing but when the sense of being an expatriate subdues, he makes a conscious affiliations with Indians and India and shows a penetrating insight into Indian life, its myth and mysticism, its rituals and historic past etc. newline
