Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is characterized by repetitive newlinecessation of flow through the upper airway, caused by obstruction of the newlineupper airway during sleep. Snoring and day time sleepiness are the core newlinesymptoms of OSAS, but cognitive deficits, mood disorders and other newlinesymptoms have been described. OSAS is not a rare disorder but its newlinePrevalence amongst middle aged male is 4% and 2% in females. Stress is one of the major newlinefactors that is affecting many of the diseases till today there has been very newlinelittle research done regarding the relationship of stress and obstructive sleep newlineapnea.in this study prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea is done along with newlineits relationship with stress and clinical evaluation of the participants with oral newlineappliances. Acustom-made mandibular advancement device is made which newlineis used for treatment of sleep apnea. Oral appliances play a major role in the newlinetreatment of OSA. newlineAim newlineTo investigate and study the prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea newlineand its relationship with stress and use of custom made oral appliance in newlineobstructive sleep apnea. newlineThe stress has a strong co relation to newlineobstructive sleep apnea. In this study it was seen that factors such as stress newlinehas great influence on the prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea. It was newlineobserved that Prevalence of females who were more likely to be stressed newlineand were suffering from moderate sleep apnea were more as compared to newlinemales but the risk of developing of developing obstructive sleep apnea and newlinestress was seen more in males than in females.
