Abstract

newlineCommunicable diseases are the diseases caused by specific infectious agents, newlinesuch as bacteria, parasites, etc. The diseases spread in the human population due newlineto transfer of these agents from an infected person, animal or reservoir to a susceptible newlineindividual or indirectly through animal host, vector or the inanimate objects. newlineSince many decades, several control measures, like chemical control to the infectious newlineagents, vaccinating humans, etc., have been applied. These chemicals use may reach newlineharm to the human population. Therefore, in this thesis, we have focused on the newlinebiological control to waterborne disease, cholera, foodborne disease, dysentery and newlinevectorborne disease, malaria. Also, the impact of economic efforts on the spread of newlinecarrier dependent infectious diseases have been investigated.
