Abstract: Chennaiquot is called as quotDetroit of Asiaquot. To put it simply Chennai is the hub for the automobile sector which is perceived to be an important city in providing employment r is people-oriented speak about change. But change is not so easy. It is tough to adopt. There will be some obstruction for change. In this study, the researcher attempted to study employee resistance towards change in the automobile sector of Chennai. In this study, the researcher proposed to found the sources for resistance to change. Implications of the study may be useful to the industry practitioners. The questionnaires from the factors such as Organization culture, fear of unknown, incompetence, etc. have been chosen for this work from well-known automobile industries namely Hyundai Motor India Ltd, Ford India Private Ltd, and Renault India Private Ltd with a respondents size of 1150 respondents. The research Methodology is Descriptive Based and Random Sampling Stratergy is used to collect the Data. Data analysis and Interpretation is analyzed using SPSS. newline The scope of the study will aim to provide a proper match between the person and the job, organizational pay and performance, improved co-ordination between the individual, their coworkers, and the supervisors. This provide for growth and advancement which will lead to Employee resistance which will reduce job dissatisfaction as well attract, retain, and motivate the workforce. In this present study, The best way to retain employees is to provide all the necessary facilities, satisfaction in their job and opportunities for advancement in their career developments. It helps to identify the factors causing dissatisfaction to the employees and thereby reducing the employees existing profession are the need of this study. newline The findings from this research will provide the outcome in a way such that it will provide benefit both to employees and employer. It will lead to the development of the organization within a short span of time. this study will empower us to give the management suggestion
