Abstract: | This thesis titled, Financial Performance Evaluation of District Central newlineCooperative Banks in Odisha Using Multi-Analytics Models presents the research work newlineundertaken to examine and apply different financial models for same subject. Here two newlinemodels at time applied in District Central Cooperative Banks (DCCBs) to see the result as newlinewell as financial performance. newlineFinancial Performance is a measure to know how a firm can use its assets and other newlineresources to generate revenue. It is related to the evaluation of overall financial condition newlineof a firm in terms of past, present and future. In present study financial performance of newlinebanks are studied. Because bank is an important component of financial system. Fund newlinecirculation in the country is possible only due to presence of bank. The main of function of newlinea bank is to accept deposits and disburse loans. As banks are major drivers of financial newlinesystem their performance is directly link with economic development. newlineAgriculture is primary sector of Indian economy as 70% of gross population newlinedependent on it. Development of a country depends mostly on the improvement of its newlineprimary sector. Agricultural development is possible when financial assistance is available newlineeasily and quickly. Co-operative Banks play an important role in socio-economic newlinedevelopment of rural masses by providing timely credit. A co-operative bank is a voluntary newlineassociation of members supporting themselves and caters the financial needs of rural newlinepeople. In rural area Cooperative banks mainly finance agricultural based activities newlineincluding farming, cattle, milk, personal finance etc, along with some small scale industries newlineand self driven activities. So growth of agriculture is linked with financial performance of newlinecooperative bank. newlineIn India Cooperative credit system has two structures i.e. Short Term Cooperative newlinecredit Structure and Long term cooperative credit system.
