Stress has become part and parcel of life and is inevitable. Deleterious newlineeffects of stress on immunity are well documented so far. Many approaches are newlineavailable for stress management. Music therapy, yoga, exercise are few of newlinethem. To relieve stress few people adapt smoking and alcohol. COVID-19 newlinepandemic has enhanced the anxiety, fear and depression among people. Older newlineindividuals have weak immune system and are more prone to infections. In this newlinepandemic especially for elderly people it is difficult to perform outdoor exercise newlineand other stress relieving activities either because of physical inability or newlinemovement restrictions enforced government. newlineControlled vestibular stimulation has been proven to be efficient in newlinereducing stress and stress induced changes. But the literature which proves the newlineeffect of controlled vestibular stimulation on stress induced immune changes is newlinelimited. Hence the present study was taken up to study the effects of controlled newlinevestibular stimulation on alleviating the stress induced immune changes. The newlinepresent work indent to study how vestibular stimulation renders beneficial newlineeffects in stress using animal model (cold water swimming stress) with studies newlineon haematological, immunological and histopathological parameters. This newlinestudy by attempting histopathological and immunohistochemical studies on newlinebrain tissues would enable better understanding of the stress as well as newlineintervention of caloric vestibular stimulation. Thus this study can provide a newlinesimple solution to combat the stress induced changes as vestibular stimulation newlinecan be achieved in daily life by adopting traditional and simple methods like newlineswinging. It can also provide a stress combating approaching without affecting newlinedaily routine. newlineThrough this study it was proven that vestibular stimulation could be an effective newlineintervention to overcome the immunological changes and structural damage of newlinebrain in stress. Many beneficial effects of vestibular stimulation are unexplained and have not been explored. newline
