T newline newlineWe all celebrate birth however birthing experience of the mother is not always pleasant. The researcher opted for the interventional package using few non pharmacological methods on pain relief among primipara mothers. Quasi experimental research design using non-probability purposive sampling technique, 300 samples (75 samples in each four groups) were recruited. Group 1, 2, 3 and 4 received lavender oil back massage, acupressure on large intestine 4 point, deep breathing technique and hospital routine measures respectively. Pain was assessed using combined numerical categorical pain scale (0-10) and level of satisfaction was assessed using semi structured rating scale. Data analysis on pain perception revealed that comparison of group 1 with 2, 3 and 4 the t value 7.05, 9.91, 12.11 (at plt0.0001) respectively. Similarly the comparison was made with other groups and found significant difference statistically. Data analysis on level of satisfaction showed that the primipara mothers in group 1, 2 and 3 had experienced highly satisfied labour experience. Co-relation between pain perception and level of satisfaction had negative correlation. It was concluded that all the three interventions had significant effect in reducing pain perception and increasing level of satisfaction in birthing process. newline newline
