Effectiveness of Skill Training Programme on Selected Obstetrical Emergencies Among Staff Nurses at Selected Hospitals

newlineABSTRACT newlineA study on Effectiveness of skill training Programme on selected obstetrical Emergencies among staff nurses at Selected hospitals. The objectives of the study was to assess the level of skill on management of selected obstetrical emergencies among staff nurses before and after skill training programme. Quantitative research approach was adopted for this study and pre Experimental-one group pre and post test design was adopted 300 staff nurses was taken by using Convenience sampling technique. In the pre-level skill, 90% of the staff nurses were not able to Manage the selected obstetrical emergencies. In the post-level of skill, 99% of the staff nurses were able to Manage the emergency situation since it is proven that they are in high competent Level and (1%) of staff nurses could able to assess and knows the management still .They were lacking in some steps and subjected to moderately competent. At present study reveals that ,the staff nurses were low competent before skill Training programme on obstetrical emergencies, After skill training programme the Staff nurses acquired confident and competent towards approach and managing Obstetrical emergencies. newline newline
