| Abstract: | The enhancement in the usage of electronic equipments particularly computers and cell phones has contributed substantial increase in large quantities of waste of electrical and electronic equipments commonly known as E-waste. This hazardous waste poses a great threat to human health and environment. It has been observed that the prevailing legislations are inefficient to regulate the hazardous waste management.
