Abstract: In this thesis work, the author explored a highly stable molecular precursor solution of Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) for solar energy conversion applications such as superstrate solar cell and photoelectrochemical studies. A precursor solution was prepared with different compositions of Cu and Zn, using the non-toxic solvent 2-methoxyethanol with thioacetamide as the sulfur source. Thesis contains six chapters with the first chapter providing the introduction to the thesis topic and the literature survey of CZTS as absorber material for solar cell and PEC device applications newline
