Title: Efficacy of Mindfulness based Psychoeducation program on Anger Adjustment and General Wellbeing among College Students

Abstract: The present study aimed to identify the efficacy of mindfulness based psychoeducation newlineprogramme on anger, adjustment and general well being among college students. The present research newlineused before, after and follow-up experimental research design without control group. The College newlineStudents who showed willingness were administered by State Trait Anger Inventory, College newlineAdjustment Scale and WHO General Well Being Scale. Fifty nine College Students who scored high newlineon anger and adjustment problems and low on general well being were screened. The selected College newlineStudents were administered Mindfulness Based Psychoeducation Programmefor 15 sessions (2 newlinesessions per week for 3 months). The efficacy of Mindfulness Based Psychoeducation Programme was newlineassessed on post and follow-up phases.The results revealed that a significant difference was found newlinebetween before, after and follow-up phases for the variables state anger, state anger feeling, state anger newlineverbal, anger expression-out, anger control-out and anxiety of the College Students. Also, significant newlinedifference was found between before and after scores for the variables state anger physical, anger newlineexpression-in, anger control-in, general well being, academic problems, interpersonal relationship newlineproblems and depression but no significant differences in after and follow-up phase. However, for the newlinevariables suicidal ideation, career problems, self esteem and family problems there was a significant newlinedifference in before and follow-up phases but no significant difference in the after and follow-up newlinephases among the College Students. Likewise, there was no significant difference in before, after and newlinefollow-up phases for trait anger, trait anger temperament, trait anger reaction, anger expression index newlineand substance abuse of the College Students.
